交通局長王義川針對計程車排班位置及車格、汽車停放處以及轉運中心的動線與座椅等，都要求立即改善，並在東站前再增設300個免費機車停車格。
陳清龍議員補充，有關先前建議東站旁國有財產署土地做為汽車臨時停車場，交通局回應月底或下個月初就會進行工程，以解決附近停車問題，也提醒機車族不要違規停車，以免遭到拖吊。
